I'm Udai Shankar Bhagat. I started trading in 2021, found one genuine mentor who taught me how the process actually works, and eventually realised that finding someone like him was far harder than it should be. POONJEE exists to close that gap — in Bengali and Hindi, for people like me.
I began trading in 2021. Like most people, I started the way everyone starts — following recommendations, watching videos, buying whatever seemed to be moving. It went about as well as you'd expect.
What changed things was finding a genuine mentor. Not someone selling calls, and not someone promising returns — someone who sat me down and taught the ABC of real trading: how to judge whether a company is actually worth owning, how much to put into a single position, when to act and when to simply wait. Boring, unglamorous things. The things that turn out to matter.
Nothing he taught me was a secret. It was just structured, honest, and in the right order — which is exactly what I couldn't find anywhere else.
As I learned, I spent a lot of time on YouTube looking for more. And what I found there bothered me.
There is no shortage of trading content. There is an enormous shortage of good mentorship. Most of what's out there is calls dressed up as education, screenshots of winning trades with the losses left out, and confident promises about how much you'll make. Very little of it teaches a process you could actually repeat on your own.
For someone learning in Bengali or Hindi, the gap is wider still. The serious material is mostly in English. What exists in our own languages leans heavily towards excitement — daily profits, quick money, sure shots.
That gap is why POONJEE exists. Not because I think I've discovered something nobody knows. Because the way I was taught deserves to reach more people, and almost nobody is teaching it that way in Bengali.
One thing, taught properly: swing trading — holding a quality company for a few days to a few weeks.
Not intraday. Not futures and options. Not commodities or currency or crypto. I teach one method, the one I use with my own capital, and I teach the whole of it: how to build a list of companies worth watching, how to read what the chart is saying, how much to risk on any single trade, and — the part most people skip — when to do nothing at all.
Students also build their own scanner: a tool running on their own Google account that checks their watchlist every evening and emails a shortlist. Not because automation is impressive, but because checking two hundred companies by hand takes three hours a day, and nobody sustains that. When the checking stops, people drift back to tips.
I am not a SEBI-registered investment adviser or research analyst. I do not give stock tips, buy or sell calls, or manage anyone's money. I will not tell you what to buy, and I will not tell you what returns to expect — not in a class, not in a message, not ever.
This isn't only a legal boundary. It's the whole point. If I hand you a stock name, you've learned nothing and you'll be back next week for another one. If I teach you the process, you never need me again — and that is what a teacher is supposed to want.
I don't promise profits. I teach a process, and the decisions stay yours.
I'm based in Chandannagar, Hooghly, West Bengal. Classes run live on weekends, in Bengali and Hindi, with technical terms kept in English so that students can later read English charts, books and reports without difficulty.
Batches are deliberately small. I'd rather teach six people properly than sixty people vaguely — particularly since setting up each person's scanner is done individually.
POONJEE is a new programme, and I'd rather say that myself than have you discover it. What isn't new is the method. It runs on my own capital, every week, in the same market you're trading.

You shouldn't take a stranger's word for whether they can teach. Come to the intro workshop, learn one complete skill you can use the same night, watch the scanner work, and decide afterwards. No pressure on the day.
